The Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship is designed to encourage and prepare students from underrepresented and underserved communities to pursue careers in computer science. Aim and Benefits of Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship
With a $7,500 CAD/year scholarship that is accessible for up to four years, our Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship offers college students like you the chance to advance in their careers. with the conclusion of their first year of post-secondary education, selected candidates will also have the chance to participate in a paid summer internship with Amazon.
Requirements for Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship Qualification
- Either a permanent resident or a citizen of Canada
- Graduating from high school (outside of Quebec) or CEGEP (in Quebec) in 2023
- Beginning full-time studies for a first bachelor’s degree in the fall of 2023
- Pursuing a degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, robotics, or another field of study linked to computer science (see the application website for a complete list of recognized degrees)
- Possess a minimum 75% average across the last three terms’ worth of points (see the application page for further information). Non-academic courses, such as those pertaining to a person’s job or personal development, will not be taken into consideration.
- Show financial need
Scholarship recipients from underrepresented groups in computer science will be given priority for a part of the available funds.

- To access the application portal, go to the official website and click the “Apply Now” option.
- The temporary password you receive by email can be used to create an account and log in.
- On the front page, select the “Search for Public Scholarships” tile.
- Type “Amazon Future Engineer” into the search bar or scroll down and choose “Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship” from the list.
