Job Summary
- Welcome visitors and count the number of people at their party.
- Find a clean, free table for your guests to sit at. Pull out chairs. Place a clean, up-to-date menu in front of them.
- Show visitors around the eating areas and offer any assistance they may require.
- For groups with particular needs, reposition and arrange tables, seats, and settings as well as the seating arrangement.
- Make sure that each guest has a napkin, clean silverware, and any other items that are typically included in a place setting, as well as that the place settings are acceptable.
- Verify that the menus are up-to-date, spotless, comprehensive, and wrinkle-free. Maintain work spaces’ cleanliness throughout the day by using clean-as-you-go techniques.

- Keep an eye on the well-being of the patrons, the availability of seats, and the service in the dining rooms.
- Follow all company and security and safety rules; notify your boss of any mishaps or risky working situations; and obtain all necessary safety training and certifications.
- Ensure that everyone is dressed neatly and professionally, that confidential information is kept private, and that company assets are protected.
- Welcome and thank all visitors for following business standards. Communicate with others in a straightforward, professional manner, and answer the phone politely.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, assist the team in achieving its objectives, and pay attention to and effectively address the concerns of other employees.
- Ensure that the requirements and standards for quality are followed. Spend a lot of time standing, sitting, or walking.
- Without help, move, lift, carry, push, pull, and position objects weighing no more than or equal to 10 pounds.
- Carry out additional, comprehensible tasks as directed by managers.
